Yet, many families find themselves unable to afford routine primary care, treatment of serious chronic illnesses, or prescription medications because of the costs of insurance and quality care increasing more rapidly than average incomes. Through our work, people in Whitfield and Murray County are being touched everyday.
We continue to measure our work because we believe that it is very important to show our supporters the effectiveness of their investment in the Healthcare Partnership. We have completed our 2009 Outcome Projections for just a few of our incubated projects detailing the benefits of promoting good health through Promotoras de Salud, Child Health Advocate and CRITICAL Conditions. Our study shows that for every dollar spent on this work, the return on investment is $12.60.
